Vouhe is a charming little village in the Deux Sevres department of France.  It is located in the department of Deux-Sèvres of the french region Nouvelle Aquitaine.  Vouhé is located in the township of Mazières-en-Gâtine part of the district of Parthenay.

The Village has approximately 330 residents, the vast majority French, who work in the agricultural sector.  Farming and rural pursuits are a way of life for the Vouhé villagers and there is a real sense of community.  Residents regularly gather for pétanque at the village hall to while away a Sunday afternoon nursing a glass or two of rosé.  For a long time in during its history La Batonniere served as the Mairie of the village as well as the home of the local Notaire.

The next village, Beaulieu-sous-Parthenay, is just as charming with a Bar-Tabac and boulangarie. Vouhé can be described as ‘real France’.  A laid back way of life is prioritised within this region of France, as is good food and spending time with friends and family.
